Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance

By adding Cipher to your Discord server or using the CipherBridge plugin, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What Cipher does

Cipher connects your Minecraft server to your Discord server. It relays chat messages, game events, and server status between the two. The CipherBridge plugin runs on your Minecraft server and sends data to the bot via a WebSocket connection.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You need permission to run the plugin on the Minecraft server you connect.
  • You're responsible for what happens on your server while the bot is connected.
  • Don't use Cipher to bypass server rules, cheat, or harass players.
  • Don't share your pairing code or auth token publicly.

4. Data

Cipher stores server configuration, account links, and event data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Availability

Cipher is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The bot or plugin may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time.

6. Liability

Cipher is a free tool. We're not liable for any damage, data loss, or disruption caused by using the bot or plugin. You use it at your own risk.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
